Our Coffee Journey

Sindi is from San Antonio del Norte, La Paz, Honduras. While this is not a coffee region, around 2017 Sindi's parents Don Isidro Bonilla and Doña Aydee Moreno relocated to Siguatepeque, Comayagua, Honduras after their son was married and moved there. The climate and elevation of Siguatepeque makes it perfect for coffee growing.

After visiting a few times, we fell in love with the region. The climate and beauty of the mountains was a strong motivation for us to begin investing in property there. After we purchased a ranch with some pastures a few acres of young coffee trees we really began looking for an outlet to sell the coffee that would be more profitable than the low prices offered by the local co-ops.

While the coffee at the ranch is still only 3 years old and not producing much we have started importing coffee processed by our friends at Sigua Family Coffee. They have been great to work with and offer a variety of great coffees. We began roasting their coffee in October 2024 in Merriam, KS.
